Project brief

The brief was to create a relaxed cafe environment for staff at Westpac’s head office in Wellington. It was to serve as the main recreation space for staff on levels 10 to 16 of the building.

Design solution:

Incorporating comfortable seating and bespoke joinery design, a funky open plan cafe/ kitchen area was created, featuring individual breakout spaces, a billiard table playing area, reading and games areas. The cafe has been a real success with staff from all levels using it as a place to meet with one another and take a break.
