Stephen founded Context Architects in 2004 with the aim of creating a practice that is genuinely interested in helping its clients realise their vision.
He is lead the Architect for Westpac’s nationwide network, and has worked with clients from corporates to Government departments to community groups.
In a past life, Stephen was an Associate at Jasmax running award-winning $20 million-plus projects in the private and public sectors.
Stephen’s over 20 years-experience spans the residential to commercial sector, including high end housing, commercial buildings, schools, wineries, hotels, banks, university buildings and corporate fitouts. He believes in balancing outstanding design with commercial realities and has a strong focus on delivery. He understands the complexity of business drivers and how they relate to property.
Stephen was an early adopter of sustainable practices, and is a key part of Westpac’s Our Tomorrow Project which saw Westpac win the WEL Networks Large Business Awards at the Energy Efficiency Conservation Authority (EECA) Awards 2010.
